Attend Virtual College Fairs!

CAL SOAP – LA College and Career Expo

Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual CALSOAP Los Angeles (Virtual) College and Career Expo! Some workshops available in English and Spanish.

Open to students and parents of all grade levels. The expo will bring FREE resources regarding numerous colleges and universities, career and technical education pathways, scholarship opportunities, and much more so that students can set and reach their academic goals successfully.

Need help with completing your FAFSA/CADAA?  Attend an LA Cash for College Event!!

Students and families can attend FREE Cash for College workshops across California for help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act (CADAA) and Chafee Grant for Foster Youth applications.

The Cash for College Mission is to help low-income and first generation college-goers complete the application process so they can access financial aid for education and career/technical training beyond high school.

Visit https://www.cash4college.csac.ca.gov to register for a Cash for College Workshop. All workshops are currently virtual.

College Board Big Future Days

Connect directly with colleges at BigFuture™ Days. Students will have a chance to meet with college admissions representatives and current college students, ask questions, and learn more about planning for college.

Students can sign up to meet with colleges in each region. They can attend any event and more than one.

The College Search – From Stress to SUCCESS

Finding the Perfect College and How to Pay for It!! with thousands of options available, deciding where to attend college can be a challenging task. However, this presentation will pave the road to the perfect choice and may even help families figure out how to pay for it!! The informative and entertaining workshop covers in-state choices, out-of-state possibilities, the top reasons students choose a college, the various costs, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities including WUE (pronounced “woo-wee”) the Western Undergraduate Exchange. WUE is a regional tuition-reciprocity agreement that enables students from US Western states to enroll in more than 150 participating two and four-year public institutions at reduced tuition.
